How to force Xcode 3.2.3 to download and use the latest versions of the development tools
As you may know, the 3.2.3 version of Xcode did not include the new development tools.
I downloaded and installed the new tools, but Xcode 3.2.3 seems to still use the previous versions.
I am afraid the problem will impact my build of an app I am working on.
Is there a way to convince Xcode to use the new tools?

If you have Xcode.app on disk in ~/Library/Application Support/Xcode/, you need to delete it and then launch the new Xcode app bundle again.
I was getting warnings like
Xcode is not built or downloaded,
when I was trying to build an app with a bit of code that uses the static library finder in the frameworks.

Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Toolchains/XcodeDefault.xctoolchain/usr/libexec/swift-version-tool
And edit the executable.
